Welcome to the home of the Eskdalemuir Art and Mystery trail :)

The tiny village of Eskdalemuir, nestled in the hills between Lockerbie and Langholm in Dumfries & Galloway, is known for being the home of the biggest Buddhist temple in Western Europe.
It also has an unprecedented abundance of prehistoric sites, as well as a vibrant community of artists.
This trail takes you on a journey around these mysterious places, stopping in on some of the valley’s artists who open their doors to visitors as well.
